Kerala PSC Civil Excise Officer Exam 2024 Notifications

Civil Excise Officer notifications were published in PSC’s official website on 30^th of November and December 2024. Kerala PSC published three notifications for five category numbers.

• Category number 502/2023 to the post Women Civil Excise Officer.
• Category number 515/2023 to the post Women Civil Excise Officer only to ST Category.
• Category number 739/2023 – 741/2023 Civil Excise Officer selection due to NCA

The last date for eligible candidates to apply for the first two notifications were on 3^rd January, 2024. And the last date to apply for category number 739/2023-741/2023 is on 31^st January 2024.

Exam Date

Civil Excise Officer 2024 exam dates will be announced by PSC in its official site. Also, the eligible candidates who have applied will receive the exact date of exam with the confirmation message. Exam centres will be later intimated to candidates when the admission tickets are released.

Kerala PSC Civil Excise Officer Exam 2024 Qualification

Candidates appearing for Civil Excise Officer must have a minimum qualification of +2. Also following education qualifications will be considered equivalent to the qualification mentioned in the official notification.

Kerala PSC Civil Excise Officer Exam 2024 Age Limit

Civil Excise Officer age limit for different category notifications are as follows. Candidates other than General category must produce the relevant documents to prove their community during document verification.

Kerala PSC Civil Excise Officer Exam 2024 Eligibility

Civil Excise Officer Eligibility is different for different PSC categories. Let’s look at the eligibility of each category separately.

Category number 502/2023 – is called towards Women Civil Excise Officer (Trainee). As per the official notification Male candidates and Differently Abled Candidates ae not eligible to apply for this post. Application was invited district-wise to all 14 districts. Also, candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm candidates from General and OBC categories. Candidates from SC/ST category should have a minimum of 150 cm

Category Number 515/2023 – is called as second NCA notify cation for female ST candidates to Malappuram district. Here also Male candidates and Differently Abled Candidates ae not eligible to apply for this post. The candidates must have a minimum of 150 cm.

Category number 739/2023 – 741/2023 – is called as first NCA Notification Female candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.

All candidates must have a distant vision of 6/6 Snellen and a near vision of 0.5/0.5 Snellen for both eyes. The same should be certified by an Ophthalmologist in government service. Also, each eye must have full field of vision, Colour blindness, squint or any other morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification.

And candidates must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing.

Candidates applied for any of the above categories must prove their physical efficiency through tests conducted offline.
