Kerala Teacher’s Eligibility test is a benchmark certification for primary and high school teachers. The exam is conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. As usual in other such certification exams registration, submitting application and downloading the admission tickets are the first steps. Preparation and attending the exam are the second step. And finally result publication and DEO verification are the last step. The result of KTET conducted on 29^th and 30^th December, 2023 has been published on 28^th February, 2024. In order to complete the DEO verification successfully candidates should download KTET DEO Verification instructions and read the complete instructions. Only candidates who have passed the Kerala Eligibility Test shall attend the verification process. Information about the verifications in various district offices will be announced through various print and visual media. Candidates should remain updated about the DEO verification in the respective offices. Those who fail to attend the process within the officially mentioned date should wait for further instructions.

Who all can attend the KTET DEO Verification 2024?

Candidates who have passed the various KTET categories shall attend the DEO verification according to the date and time given by the respective offices.

Each candidate should re-affirm that they have satisfied all eligibility criteria as per the KET October 2023 Notification. Also, candidates should be able to present the original and true copy of all relevant documents in the format mentioned in the DEO verification instructions. Those who have provided incorrect details about Date of Birth, Name, Photograph by mistake during the time of application should get the Hall Ticket with corrected details before verification.

What are the required KTET verification documents?

Candidates should present all the relevant documents and other particulars (if any) during KTET Verification.

1. Original Hall ticket with signature of exam hall invigilator.
2. In case of newly issued corrected Hall ticket, the above-mentioned signature is not necessary.
3. Candidates who availed the exam fee concessions and other concessions applied to their communities should provide the original of relevant documents proving their community.
4. If the certificates proving the eligibility or qualification is obtained from states other than Kerala, the candidate should provide the affidavit regarding the certificates from the respective boards/universities. The certificate proving the equivalence of such courses should also be submitted.
5. Candidates who had attended KTET October 2023 while continuing B. Ed, D. Ed, D.L. Ed (2^nd year only) should provide the certificate from the head of the respective institution. Verification for such students will be completed only after providing the pass certificate of the respective course.
6. Provisional certificate and mark list from respective universities/board will be considered for verification in the absence of original certificate (Provisional certificate should be valid at the time of verification)

How to rectify the mistakes in application and hall ticket?

All required details provided by the candidate during the time application will be cross checked during KTET DEO verification. The necessary corrections (if any) should be made before verification.

Correction in Date of Birth

In order to get the date of birth corrected in the hall ticket candidates will have to relevant documents and the proof of fee payment to the respective Education Officer.

Candidate must attach the written application along with the copy of current hall ticket, attested copy of SSLC or equivalent certificate.

For the purpose of correction candidates need to pay ₹ 100 through challan under the head ““0202 – 01 – 102 – 92 other receipt”

The candidate should furnish their complete address on the letter cover and should be sent to the District Education Officer through registered or speed post.

Correction in Name.

Along with all documents and challan mentioned in the above-mentioned format the candidate should also attach a gazette officer attested affidavit mentioning that the name in the SSLC or Equivalent certificate and the name in the KTET are one and same.

Correction in Photograph

Candidates should follow the steps of fee payment and postal details as mentioned above.

The documents should be submitted in the following format.

• The Photograph should be clear to identify the candidate and the background should be plane.
• The photograph must be submitted in CD.
• The file size of Photograph must be between 20 KB and 30 KB.
• Candidates must submit the identification certificate issued by the Head Mistress / Master of the exam centre where the candidates had attended the relevant KTET exam fixing the corrected photograph.
• Make sure the sign and seal of the head of the school is drawn across the photograph.

When will the KTET certificate available?

Candidates need not submit application for provisional or immediate certificate. The certificates of the eligible candidates will be granted collectively from the office.

The date of KTET DEO Verification

Verification takes place in the DE offices all over Kerala. All candidates are advised to contact the respective DE office under which the examination centre where the candidate attended the KTET 2023 October edition in order to get the accurate KTET certificate updates. The candidates who are not attending the DEO verification within the preferred time will have to wait until the verification after KTET Exam 2024.
