HSST Physics Eligibility
The expected list of eligibility for Kerala PSC HSST Physics exam are as follows:
- Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala.
- Also, it is important to possess the following qualifications as and how mentioned below
- B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala.
- In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
- In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified in items (i) and (ii) above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala or M Sc Ed. in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education sponsored by National Council for Education, Research and Training (NCERT)
- Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or the agency authorized by the State Government.
HSST Physics Recruitment
The recruitment exercise for HSST Physics starts with the publication of notification. The online application submit window will be live in the website Kerala PSC Thulasi. After the submission of application Kerala PSC will announce the exam date and opens the window to submit confirmation. Soon after the exam PSC will publish the shortlist of candidate register numbers who have scored marks equal to or above cut-off marks. Those candidates will receive invitation for OTR Verification, following which the final rank list will be published. The candidates included in different lists will receive advise to join according to the rank list, vacancies reported and the PSC rotation chart.
HSST Physics Exam Pattern
The Kerala PSC HSST Physics exam will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks. There will be negative marks for each wrong answer. 0.33 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. Candidates are advised to only attend the questions you are sure about. Each candidate gets 1 hour 30 minutes time to finish the exam. The Kerala PSC HSST Physics exam might be conducted online of through offline. In both the cases candidates should be present at the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the exam time with your admission ticket, black/blue ball point pen and a valid ID card. In offline mode candidates will receive question booklet and an OMR sheet. Candidates must bubble and write the required credentials such as register number, name, date and name of the exam in Part A of the OMR sheet. And Part B is entirely to bubble the answers against the respective question numbers from the question booklet.
