Kerala PSC SI Exam

Sub Inspector is one of the highly responsible position in Kerala Police that lakhs of candidates are aspiring for. The preliminary examination has been conducted with the degree level preliminary examination.

Sub Inspector Kerala PSC mains is the second stage of the recruitment. Kerala PSC is conducting the examination in pen and paper model. The MCQ based OMR examination will be conducted for 100 marks. For each right answer 1 mark will be added and for wrong answer 0.33 marks will be deducted.

Kerala PSC SI Exam Date

The most anticipated Kerala PSC SI examination date is out. As per the latest exam calendar published by PSC Sub Inspector Mains Exam date is 12 September 2024. Only candidates who have cleared the prelims are eligible for the mains examination. Only such candidates will receive the admission ticket.

Kerala PSC SI Exam Admission Ticket

The Admission ticket for PSC SI exam will be available in Candidate profile in Kerala Public Service Commission Thulasi. Candidates can download admission ticket for Kerala PSC SI Examination since 12 September, 2024. While appearing for the examination, you should present the admission ticket when the invigilator asks. Only candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination will receive the admission ticket in their respective candidate profile.

Admission ticket includes the title of the examination, candidate name and photograph. It also includes the full address and contact number of the exam centre. Candidates are advised to contact the exam centre beforehand in order to get the correct location of the centre.

Kerala PSC SI Syllabus

All candidates are advised to do PSC SI syllabus pdf download and read to understand the scope of the examination. Syllabus for Kerala PSC SI mains examination consist of six parts. The questions will be asking from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General English, Regional Language, Special Topic (including Indian Constitution), Simple Arithmetic, Mental Ability and Reasoning. Except for Special Topic all the other topics are included in the degree level mains examination. Therefore, the intense preparation for the examination can help the students for PSC SI exam also.

Special Topic is the subject related to the nature of duty of Sub Inspector. Questions from Indian Constitution are also a part of this topic. The special topic includes five sub-topics. Kerala PSC SI Recruitment 2024

After Kerala PSC Sub Inspector Mains examination Kerala PSC will publish the short list of candidates eligible to be called for Physical Measurement & Physical Efficiency Test. Following the physical test another shortlist with register number of eligible candidates selected for interview will be published. Adding the marks obtained from interview, Kerala PSC publish the ranked list of candidates eligible to receive the advice to join the force.

Candidates will receive the advice as per the rotation chart of Public Service Commission. There will be a one-year training in any of the training Centres of Kerala Police. The training period will be followed by practical training for 10 ½ months. During this period all selected persons will receive a stipend as decided by the government. All candidates should complete both the training within the specified time successfully. As per the Kerala Police vacancy, candidates will be appointed in respective offices all over Kerala.

Kerala PSC SI Previous Exam

Kerala PSC conducted SI exam for notification category number 669/2022 in April 2024. Kerala PSC Sub Inspector cut off for the preliminary examination was 45.4545. And the cut off marks of SI mains examination is 43.33. The cut-off for the degree level preliminary exam 2024 has not been published yet.
