Kerala PSC is expected to publish the notifications towards various subject and language teachers in High School Level classes in December. Candidates can find the tentative month of examination in the PSC annual calendar of PSC. HSA Exam Qualification

As per the PSC notification only candidates with specific qualifications are allowed to apply for the exam. The candidates applying for HSA Kerala PSC should possess the following qualifications and certifications.

• A Bachelor’s Degree and B.Ed./ B.T in relevant subjects. Make sure that the degree is conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala.
• Candidates must have passed K TET Category 3 for other subject teachers. The language teachers must be certified by KTET Category 4.

Other qualifications are allowed only as per the official notification. Any candidate with B.Ed., B.T. or L.T. (for language teachers) shall apply if they have the appropriate Post Graduate degree.

Is CTET equivalent to KTET 3?

CTET or Central Teachers Eligibility Test certification is not equivalent to KTET category 3. There for the certification is not accepted for PSC HSA Examination. CTET certificate is valued as equivalent to Only KTET 1 and 2. Since the High School Teacher is a higher post KTET Category 3 is the only accepted qualifying certificate. Candidates who satisfies all other criteria must acquire KTET 3 before the commencement of HSA notification.

HSA Exam Syllabus

Kerala PSC will release HSA exam syllabus with the PSC calendar for examination. Candidates can download HAS Exam Syllabus pdf from the calendar of the respective month of HSA exam. Syllabus is expected to have a little or no changes, this year.
