LBS SET 2023

The State Eligibility Test constituted by the LBS Centre for Science & Technology is an exam designated to ensure the standard of teaching in higher Secondary Schools. Candidates writing SET are selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-vocational Teachers in VHSE in government-aided schools. The results for the SET exam conducted on the 23^rd of July 2023 were released on the 24^th of August 2023, nearly a month time.

LBS SET 2023 Registration

Candidates who want to apply for Kerala SET are only required to apply through online mode only. The applicants shall visit the official website @ www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in and select SET exams from the online services tab on the portal to proceed with the exams. Follow the steps below to complete the registration process.

STEP 1 – Mobile Number Registration

Candidates shall register their Mobile number by entering the number in the portal and verifying it using the One Time Password.

STEP 2 – Filling of Online Application form

Fill in the basic details and submit the form, thereby a registration ID will be generated, which should be kept for future reference.

STEP 3 – Photo Upload

Select the photograph required which should be of dimension 200 pixels * 150 pixels and maximum file size of 30KB.

STEP 4 – Online Payment of Fee

Candidates can make payment of the application fee through Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking or other modes as specified. Once the application fee is remitted, it will not be refunded.

STEP 5 – Printing of Application

The final application after verifying will be available to be downloaded and shall be kept for future reference.

LBS SET Exam result 2023 was released for the latest recruitment cycle which was conducted in the month of May. The exam result was released on 24^th August 2023 and the statistics claim an overall success rate of 19% from the state. LBS SET Exam Next Notification

The next SET exam notification will be released in the month of December 2023. Consequently, the exam process will commence in the initial months of 2024. So, candidates can attempt the upcoming exam before any major HSST or HSA recruitment that will be released in the next recruitment cycle. Subjects like HSA Physical Science had been entangled in a court order previously which was one of the major setbacks in releasing new notifications. However, the aspirants can expect the same in 2024, and getting qualified for SET would be an added advantage.
