KAS alias Kerala Administrative Services exam was notified in the year 2019 and the exam was conducted in the year 2020. The ranked list published for the KAS exam shall remain in force for a maximum of one year and a separate rank list will be published for each stream specifically. However, eligible candidates can submit applications for more than one stream provided they can produce sufficient documents at the time of verification. KAS Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Kerala Administrative Services recruitment is divided into three stream categories viz., stream 1, stream 2, and stream 3.
Stream 1: candidates who are in the age range 21-32 years, born between 1987 and 1998 are eligible to apply.
Stream 2: candidates who are born between 1979 and 1998, aged from 21 years to 40 years are eligible to apply for this post.
Stream 3: 1st gazetted officer post holding officers not more than 50 years of age.

KAS Qualifications for various Streams
The education qualifications pertaining to each stream are given below.
Stream 1: Candidates must have obtained a bachelor's degree including a professional course from any of the Universities recognized by the Government of Kerala. This is an open market category.
Stream 2: Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree as mentioned above and must be a full member or an approved probationer in any government department.
Stream 3: Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree or professional degree-holding permanent 1st gazetted officer post.
