Following the announcement of the Kerala local body election dates, the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed all PSC exams scheduled between December 8, 2025 and December 12, 2025, to February 2026. Kerala Local Body Elections 2025: Dates, Districts & Schedule

The Kerala Local Body Elections 2025 have been scheduled to be conducted in two phases by the Kerala State Election Commission. The polling will be held on December 9 and 11, 2025, across all districts of Kerala.

In the first phase, on December 9, elections will take place in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam districts. The second phase, on December 11, will cover Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts.

Polling will be conducted from 7 AM to 6 PM, and the counting of votes for the Kerala local body elections 2025 will be held on December 13, 2025.
