1. Kerala PSC LD Typist Notification 2023

a) LD Typist Exam Date 2023

The Junior Typist and LD Typist Mains will be tagged and conducted under SSLC level Mains examination-2022 which is scheduled for 16^th May 2023. The hall ticket release date will be soon intimated. And the candidates are advised to check their profiles for timely updation without waiting for the SMS or emails.

b) What Is the Qualification of LD Typist

The minimum qualification required for a LD Typist is a Pass in Plus 2 or equivalent qualification. And the other essential qualifications are as follows.

1. Lower grade certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) & Computer Word Processing or its equivalent

(Candidates who have passed KGTE Type writing before January 2002 should possess separate certificate in Computer word processing on before the last date of receipt of the application)

2. Lower grade certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent.

c) Kerala PSC LD Typist Admit Card Date

d) Age Limit of LD Typist 2023 Exam

The minimum age to be a LD Typist is 18 years and the maximum age is 36 years. However, there is an age relaxation for OBCs, SC and ST where the maximum age shall not exceed 50 years.

e) Salary Of LD Typist in Kerala

The average scale of pay for LD Typist started from Rs 20,000 to Rs 45,800 previously, however according to the 2022 gazette, the scale of pay is increased and starts from Rs 26,500 to Rs 60,700.

g) How To Apply for LD Typist 2023

Candidates should submit their applications through the PSC Thulasi profile registered using “One Time Registration” at the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applicants who have already registered can log in using their user ID and password. Then, you should carefully click on to the “Apply Now” button corresponding to the post you need to apply. The photographs uploaded in the website should be in accordance with the instructions in the profile. The photo should have your name and the date on which it was took at the bottom. However, newly registered candidates should upload a photo taken within 6 months. The photograph once uploaded is valid for a period of 10 years from the date of upload. No application fee is charged from any of the candidates. The candidate is responsible for his credentials and secrecy of password. Forged documents and credentials can lead to permanent dissolution of your profile or candidature from writing future PSC exams. The applicants should also quote their user-id for future reference.

2. PSC LD Typist Exam

a) Kerala PSC LD Typist Previous Year Cut Off

The cut offs for LD Typist varies each year, however for your reference the LD Typist Main examination for category no. 325/2020 published in the year 2021 in state-wide gazette was equivalized at 39.1554 marks. Whereas, the surge in the candidates in the current scenario and the number of available vacancies can end up in a high cut off score this year.

b) Kerala PSC LD Typist New Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted for a total mark of 100 for which a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes will be given. The exam will be conducted in offline OMR mode.

The LD Typist mains exam includes the following subjects and their corresponding mark weightage is also given as follows.

• I) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (10 marks)
• II) Computer Word-processing (40 marks)
• III) Typewriting (10 marks)
• IV) General English (20 marks)
• V) Regional Language (Malayalam/ Kannada/ Tamil) (20 marks)

c) PSC LD Typist: Computer Test

The test to check computer knowledge is one of the most important parts in the LD Typists test. And this part has the most weightage. The syllabus starts with the basics of computer-Input devices, Output devices, Software storage, Latest Peripherals, E-mail, Browsers, Search Engine, Social Networking, Anti-virus Software, Unicode, Websites and Windows.
