SET Exam 2023 Notification Overview

The State Eligibility Test or SET 2023 exam is conducted to determine the qualification and standard of teachers involved in Higher Secondary and Non-Vocational Higher Secondary Education. And the authority to conduct the exam is bestowed on the LBS Centre for Science & Technology. The SET 2023 exam notification was released on 29^th March 2023 via the LBS official website. Aspirants with a Master’s degree with not less than 50% and a degree in education as mandated by the Government of Kerala are encouraged to apply. Kerala SET Exam 2023 Registration & Application Form

Candidates who wish to submit the SET Exam Application Form should register on the Kerala State Eligibility Test Official Website and the application will only be accepted through the online mode. The various steps involved in the SET Exam registration are given below for reference.

Steps for Registration

• Visit the official website of LBS viz., www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in
• Go to the tab labelled “Online-Services” and choose tab “SET & Other exams”
• After that you will be directed to an external page, from there choose “SET-July-2023”
• The next page with all the necessary details about the SET-July-2023 opens up and then choose “Online Registration” link on the left side of the page.
• Upon reaching the new registration page, a dialog box prompts you to enter your mobile number and an OTP will be generated for confirmation.
• Next, the application form opens up, fill in the requisite details and press “submit” button.
• A registration ID will be displayed upon successful submission which shall be kept for future reference.
• Next upload a photograph with maximum size 30 KB (dimension” 200 X 150 pixel)
• Now, you will be taken to a payment portal which prompts you to pay through Debit/ Credit/ Net Banking modes.
• After successful payment, candidates can take the print out of the application form.

SET Exam Kerala 2023 Eligibility

The basic eligibility required for a candidate to appear for the SET 2023 exam is a Master’s degree with not less than 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree in any discipline from any of the Universities of Kerala or recognized as equivalent. And there are few exemptions related to the subject of specialization chosen which is given profoundly in the prospectus.

The exam will be consisting of two papers, where Paper-I is common for all candidates from various disciplines and Paper-II will be based on the subject of specialization.

SET Exam Kerala Age Limit

The Candidates need not worry about the age restriction for applying for the Kerala State Eligibility Test as there in none. However, candidates who need to apply in government institutes or schools should check the age limit prescribed as per the respective employment notification.

SET Exam Kerala 2023 Exam Date

The SET 2023 exam dates are yet to be announced and will be intimated through the official websites. The candidates should also be vigilant as the intimation is also circulated through various electronic media and news propagating platforms.

SET Exam Kerala 2023 Admit Card Date

The successfully registered candidates can download the admit card as and when it is released through the official website of LBS Centre for Science and Technology. The date for admit card release is not yet confirmed as the application submission process is ongoing.

SET Exam Kerala Last Date to Apply

The last date to submit the completed application form along with the fee is on 25^th April 2023. The portal will be available till 5:00 pm after which it will be obsolete.
