RRB Junior Engineer Selection Process

RRB JE Selection Process is common for all notified posts – Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The overall recruitment process involves two stages of Computer based test, 1^st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2^nd stage Computer Based Test (CBT). Apart from that candidates will be called for document verification after successful completion of stage 2- CBT. If all the mentioned documents are in order and found proper, then the final stage i.e., Medical Examination will be applicable.

RRB Junior Engineer Examination Details

RRB Junior Engineer Examination will be conducted as two stage Computer Based Exam (CBT). And the second stage selection can be done 15 times or lesser according to the requirement of the Railway Administration. There shall be negative markings for both the stages of exam at 1/3^rd.

RRB JE 2023 CBT Phase 1 Examination Details

First stage CBT exam will be common to all the notified posts released by RRB. The Total Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and an extra 30 minutes will be allotted for PwBD candidates. CBT-I exam will have 100 questions. And the exam will be of screening nature and the exam standards will conform with the syllabus as specified in the RRB notification.

RRB JE 2023 CBT Phase 2 Examination Details

The candidates shortlisted from CBT-I will be called for CBT-II. And the selection for this stage will be based on the marks normalised from stage-I. The total duration of the test will be 120 minutes and 40 minutes extra will be given by PwBD candidates. CBT-II will have a total of 150 questions. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.
