Educational Qualification: 

• Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
   
• PG students & UGC’s new 4-year degree students can also apply. 
   

Age Limit:

• JRF – Maximum 30 years (relaxation as per government rules).
   
• Assistant Professor – No upper age limit.

How to Apply for UGC NET December 2025

The UGC NET December 2025 registration is completely online. Candidates must carefully read the UGC NET December 2025 information bulletin before applying.

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the UGC NET Official Website
• Register with basic details, create a password, choose a security question and note down the system-generated Application Number.
• This UGC NET December 2025 Application Number will be used for all future logins and correspondences.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• Log in with your Application Number and password to complete personal details, choose subjects and exam cities and upload documents.
• Upload Requirements:
  
  • Photograph: JPG/JPEG, 10–200 KB, clear face visible
  • Signature: JPG/JPEG, 10–50 KB
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable): PDF, 50–300 KB
     
• Only your own documents should be uploaded; incorrect uploads may lead to disqualification.

Step 3: Fee Payment

• Pay the exam fee online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card or UPI.
• A Confirmation Page is generated only after successful payment. Keep it safe for future reference.

Password Guidelines:

• Password: 8 – 13 characters, must include uppercase, lowercase, number and special character.
• Do not share your password. Log out after completing your session.
• Password can be reset via security question, SMS verification or email link.

Important  note:

• Always note your Application Number for future reference.
• Ensure all uploads are clear and correct; corrections are not allowed later.
