Overview
HSA English PSC is an exclusive exam conducted to find the best candidates eligible to teach in High School classes. The notification is expected towards the end of December 2024. Though the HSA English exam is expected in 2025, candidates should engage in a diligent year-long preparation. HSA English Syllabus
Kerala PSC HSA Syllabus is structured as a tool to test the knowledge of the candidates in respective subject, profession and general knowledge. The syllabus is divided into two parts. Part A aims to test the knowledge in various subjects related to the profession, teaching, and other general subjects. These subjects come under 3 modules.
- Module I: Renaissance and Freedom Movement
- Module II: General Knowledge and Current Affairs
- Module III: Methodology of Teaching the Subject.
Module I and II are similar to that of the Kerala PSC Clerk exam. Module III of HSA syllabus common to all HSA exam. The Part B of HSA syllabus includes subject-specific topics.
HSA English Exam.
English in High School classes are one of the most demanded subjects in government teaching posts. HSA English is being notified after 3 years. The number of eligible candidates is expected to be at a record high this time. Candidates should have acquired all eligibilities mentioned in the notification before the commencement of the official notification.
All eligible candidates can apply for HSA English PSC exam through their candidate profile in the website Kerala Public Service Commission Thulasi. PSC do not charge candidate any amount for registration or exam application. Create the candidate profile as per the official instructions from Kerala PSC. Add all the details regarding educational and technical qualifications.
Once the HSA English notification is officially released the application window will be available in the notification tab in your candidate profile.
Click on Notifications tab and Choose District-wise – Direct – General page.
Select High School Teacher (English). Fill the required fields and choose the district of selection. Candidates should be careful while choosing district of selection. Below the category number and post name will show the option to choose district. Choose the district only after careful study of the previous HSA English cut off mark and status of advice. The list will only show the name of districts which are participating in the respective recruitment process.
Candidate should be mindful about applying for the examination before the last date to apply.
