All About Pareeksha Bhavan KTET DEO Verification

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan conducted the KTET exams recently in the month of December 2022 and the exam results were published without much anticipation on 1st February 2023. So, all the candidates who have qualified the KTET exam should undergo a process called DEO verification where the candidates will be called upon on slot basis to verify their qualification certificates before the District Educational Officer (DEO). The verification has already started from 13th February 2023 and the closing date will be intimated through various public news mediums.
- The candidates should verify that they have all the qualification as ordained in the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan Notification.
- They should also keep aside the qualification certificates and their copies in sufficient as they go for verification.
- For candidates who had entered their credentials like name, date of birth and other details wrong during the application process, should produce the new hall tickets with corrected details for verification.

1. What happens in case the candidate missed the verification slot given?
The candidates should wait for further intimation from the corresponding District Educational Offices if they missed their allocated slots. And you are not supposed to visit the Education Office other than the time allotted to you as the Office will also be engaged in the processing of S.S.L.C 2023 exams.
2. How to correct the Date of Birth?
Candidates should collect the following documents like,
- Candidates Application letter indicating the correction
- A copy of Hall ticket
- An attested copy of S.S.L.C certificate
- Challan of Rs 100/- remitted on the head account “0202-01-102-92” of any Treasuries of the State.
And post the above documents with your correct address mentioned duly in a stamp cover.
3. How to correct candidate’s “Name”?
Candidates should collect the following documents like,
- Candidates Application letter indicating the correction
- A copy of Hall ticket
- An attested copy of S.S.L.C certificate
- Challan of Rs 100/- remitted on the head account “0202-01-102-92” of any Treasuries of the State.
- Attestation from a gazetted officer stating that candidates “name” indicated in the SSLC certificate and the KTET application are same.
And post the above documents with your correct address mentioned duly in a stamp cover.
4. How to rectify the photograph submitted?
The candidates should follow the below steps for knowing the requisite documents for photograph correction.
- The new photograph that needs to be replaced for the old one should be taken after 18th April 2022. The applicant should mark the “name” and “date of photograph” properly in the photo.
- The photo should be submitted in a CD (size: between 20KB and 30kB)
- An identification certificate with the new photo issued by the Head Master of the examination centre at which the candidate appeared for exam should be produced.
(Photograph should also be cross-signed and sealed by the HM)
- A copy of the Hall Ticket as well as the Result page.
- Challan of Rs 100/- remitted on the head account “0202-01-102-92” of any Treasuries of the State.
- A self-request quoting the changes you need.

5. What certificates should be produced by candidates pursuing B.Ed./D.Ed./D.El.Ed.?
The candidates who appeared for KTET while pursing B.Ed./ D.Ed./ D.El.Ed. should produce a certificate that they were pursuing their 2nd semester of the respective teaching degree and should also submit the provisional degree certificate to proceed with the verification.
