CTET Eligibility Criteria 2026

  • Completed graduation with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed. qualification.

CTET Paper 2 Educational Qualification 2026

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed course.

  • Graduation with 50% marks and appearing / passed in B.Ed.

                                                          OR

  • Graduation with 50% marks and appearing / passed in B.Ed (Special Education).

Final-year students are also eligible.

2. CTET Age limit

  • Minimum age for CTET 2026 : 18 years
  • There is no maximum age limit for CTET Exam 2026.

CTET Reservation / Relaxation 2026

  • SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get 5% mark relaxation.
  • Reservation benefits are provided as per government rules.

3. CTET Nationality 2026

To apply for the CTET 2026 September Session exam, candidates must be Indian citizens.

The following candidates are also eligible:

  • Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1 January 1962
  • Migrants from selected countries who plan to settle permanently in India
