The Kerala PSC Fire & Rescue Officer Trainee Salary 2025 ranges between ₹27,900 and ₹63,700 per month, as per the latest pay revision. Kerala PSC Fire & Rescue Officer Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2025

As per the Kerala PSC Fire & Rescue Officer Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2025 Applicants must satisfy educational qualification, age limit, and physical standards as prescribed below.

Age Limit 

18 - 26 Years

Only candidates born between 02/01/1999 and 01/01/2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Educational Qualifications

1. Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent.

Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application

Physical Standards

Swimming Proficiency

The proficiency in swimming will be tested by a practical test conducted by the commission. The following are the criteria for the swimming test.

1. 50 Meter swimming trial to be completed within two minutes.
2. Two minute floating ability at the deeper sides of the swimming pool. Candidates must qualify both the events to be considered as qualified in the swimming test.

Visual Standards

1. Eye sight : Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.

1. Each Eye must have a Full Field of Vision
2. Colour Blindness, Squint or any Morbid Conditions of the Eye or Lids of either Eye shall be a disqualification for appointment. 
3. Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon as to the candidate's physique, fitness and capacity for rough outdoor work and also of the visual standards. Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate in original in the following format as and when called for by the Commission.

Disqualifications: Colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids.

Physical Efficiency Test

A Physical Efficiency test will be conducted by the commission to assess the physical efficiency of the candidates. Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the physical efficiency test showing the minimum standards of efficiency as noted below.

 Medical Certification

Candidates must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon Gr. II ensuring physical fitness, vision standards, and suitability for the particular post.
