The mode of recruitment is direct and the number of vacancies is considered Districtwise. As per the PSC latest news, Physical Education Teacher vacancies in 5 districts are only mentioned as of now. According to the given information, except Thiruvananthapuram (4 vacancies), some other districts including Kollam, Idukki, Thrissur and Kannur have one vacancy for each.

The process of One-time registration should be done through the PSC official website.If the concerned authorities find any kind of mistakes in the submission, it will be immediately rejected. Separate Ranked lists will be arranged for the concerned districts in pursuance of this notification. There will be a one-year validity for the prepared and published PSC ranked list, considering certain conditions i.e., the ranked list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the lists.

A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he or she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P) No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5-year service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt Servant.

Candidates who are already working as Government employees working in the same post in any one district are barred from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when informed. The application should be submitted for the post to any one of the above-mentioned districts, where the existing vacancy and should note the district name against the appropriate column of the application submitted online.
