Kerala SET Qualifying Marks 2026: Category-Wise Pass Percentage

Candidates should understand the difference between the minimum Kerala SET Qualifying Marks 2026 and the marks obtained in the exam.

To qualify for Kerala SET 2026, candidates must satisfy both the minimum paper-wise percentage and the overall aggregate percentage prescribed for their category.

The Kerala SET qualifying requirements are as follows:

Candidates claiming category-based concessions must possess the valid certificates prescribed by the LBS Centre. OBC candidates must satisfy the Non-Creamy Layer requirements, while SC/ST candidates must have the relevant community certificates.

How Is the Kerala SET Aggregate Percentage Calculated?

The aggregate Kerala SET percentage is calculated using the combined marks obtained in Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Formula:

Aggregate Kerala SET Percentage = (Marks obtained in Paper I + Marks obtained in Paper II) ÷ (Maximum marks in Paper I + Maximum marks in Paper II) × 100

Candidates must also satisfy the minimum LBS SET qualifying percentage separately in both papers. Meeting the aggregate requirement alone is not sufficient if the minimum requirement in either paper is not met.

Note that the prescribed qualifying percentages are minimum eligibility requirements, not a separate subject-wise ranking cutoff.
